While looking for a new home on Maui is what you’ve come to us for, we always like to keep our blogs fresh with entertaining content. And that’s why this week we’d like to share with you why you’ll want to spend your 2019 Halloween on Maui this October.
What’s known as the mardi gras of the Pacific, Maui’s Front Street is well-known for its vast Halloween festivities. Every year, the street gets closed down in Lahaina, and people from all over the world and outer islands flood the road in their most innovative costumes to enjoy a night of fun and excitement.
The day starts out before sunset with a keiki parade around 4pm, so all the adorable little children and families can get the evening started off on the right foot. If you have little ones, you’ll definitely want to attend this event as it’s an opportunity for the kids to have fun and potentially win prizes!
After the kids are finished, the adult fun begins, and all the bars and restaurants on Front Street stay open to help make your Halloween evening the best ever. If you’ve never participated in the Front Street Halloween extravaganza, this is the year to do it. Put on each year by the community, and the event keeps growing and attracting people such as yourself to come and make some real Maui memories!
We hope you have already given your costumes a thought. If not, no worries. You still have plenty of time. In the meantime, keep checking back to our website to look at all the beautiful luxury properties available here on the island. If you have any questions about our website or luxury listings, don’t hesitate to call. Have a great week everyone, and we can’t wait to hear what costume ideas you have planned for October 31.
